My Mom

Its my moms birthday and I wanted to dedicate this blog to my mom. Enjoy! First of of all, my mom gave me a life. She helps me and cares for me and my brother. I think my mom is the best cook in the whole world. She's fun and creative. My mom is very encouraging. She says that if I want to try something, I should do it and she cheers me on when I do sports. My mom is my favorite person in the whole world and she's the type of person I enjoy being around and talking to. Happy birthday mom!

Warrior cats: Sunset

Sunset is a good book. The cats are warriors and they have to fight for peace. There's this thing that goes on and on in the book: before there is peace, blood will spill blood. At the end, one of the bad cats die and then there is peace. If you like action packed books, Warrior Cats:Sunset would be a good book for you!

Radiance

I didn't really care for the book Radiance. There's a girl named Riley and she's a ghost. She died about a year ago in a car crash. Riley figures out that she even has to go to school and she gets assigned a job. Her job is Soul Catcher and she had to get the Radiant boys away from a castle because they keep scaring people. She gets them out of the castle, but then her guide, Bodhi, has to take care of the Wailing Woman. On a scale one to ten, this book is a four for me. If you want to find out what happens next, read the book!

Every Soul a Star

Every Soul a Star is also by Wendy Mass. Three kids, Ally, Bree, and Jack, meet together at the same place. Ally lives at an Eclipse camp that her parents run. On a scale one to ten on how much I liked this book, my number would be ten. Jack lives in the city. and so does Bree. Jack doesn't pay attention in class so he can either go to summer school, or the Eclipse camp. He chooses the Eclipse camp and has a wonderful time. Bree want to stay in the city because she's the most popular kid in her grade and she doesn't want to leave her best friend. But Bree has a lot of fun and learns a lot. Jack's science comes too because he has to find an exoplanet. Well, he has to leave, so its up to Jack, Bree, and Ally. If you want to find out what happens next, read the book!

A Mango-Shaped Space

I'm going to tell about my favorite book A Mango-Shaped Space by Wendy Mass. Its her first book. Its about a girl named Mia with synesthesia. It means she sees colors when she hears words, or sees a number or letter. Her grandpa died about three years ago. At his funeral, a  gray and white cat is by his tombstone. Mia asked her parents if she could keep the cat. She named the cat Mango, but everyone thinks she named Mango because his mango colored eyes, but its not why. Mia named Mango because the sound of his purr is a mango color. Later she tells her mom about her colors and goes to a therapist. Then another doctor  gives her a website to meet other synethetes. A synethete is a person with synethesia. She goes to a meeting with some synethetes. When she goes home that night, something terrible happens! Mango has a slight cut on his left lung and does this wheezing thing. It cannot be cured. The vet says Mango can't go outside in the cold, but he does! If you want to know what happens to Mango, read the book!
